I love "my" cat and dog - Mimi/Mossimo(don't ask) & Pepper, respectively. They actually belong to my sister & niece, whom I live with, but I'm with them during the day and do quite a bit with them. I've really become attached here lately. I realize more everyday the connection that humans have with animals, esp. their pets. I recently bought a scratch-mat for Mimi, and he seems to enjoy and take to it well, instead of sharpening his claws on my shoe strings.
